Vehicle Modification Report

1. Engine Modifications – Complete custom designed and fully developed HKS POWER RAM Induction System complete with modified plenums, custom Quad RAM pipes (extensive modification and re-engineering of components was required to allow correct fitment of ram pipes whilst still retaining full functionality and features of all components), PIAA light weight motor sport Quad Dual horn system, Custom polished CNC manufactured Air-Mass meter adaptors, Laser cut and polished heat shields, modified Air injection pump with High flow breather filter, and Dual HKS Super Power Flow heads that have been tested to flow over 1200 BHP.
Fully mandrel bent exhaust system with high flow X-Pipe and Hartge rear exhaust boxes, modified, extended and relocated Lamda sensors, modified exhaust manifolds, including removal of all BMW catalysts (pre and post) with dual performance sport catalyst replacements. Complete Power pulley upgrade kit fitted to reduce ancillary loads and increase BHP and engine response.
The engine ECU has then been custom live mapped whilst still maintaining full emission control with more torque and BHP throughout the engine RPM range with improved throttle response and fuel economy. The aural note from the engine is now vastly different and sounds Racier than a Formula 1 car on full throttle.

2. Vehicle Dynamics – AC Schnitzer 20″ split rims with custom tuned sports springs with carefully chosen spring rates, matched front and rear adjustable anti-roll system, with modified and adjustable suspension bushes and mounts to compliment and work in conjunction with the DSC and EDC, with full geometry re-alignment to provide optimum levels of grip and high speed stability. Vehicle has been tested by Race Engineers at over 200 MPH and will hit rev limiter at 220 MPH.
Fully floating AP Racing 6 pot braking system with matching rear callipers, developed with upgraded brake pads front and rear, handmade Goodridge brake lines with a thorough flushing through with DOT 5.1 AP racing brake fluid, (including master and DSC system).
Racing Tyre Pressure Monitoring System fitted with individual tyre pressure and temperature measurements, this is complimented by tyres that were index fitted to each wheel to minimise static and dynamic wheel balance, before having a force variation load process carried out to ascertain the optimum position on the vehicle for the wheel-tyre combination.

3. Cosmetic – Fully installed and painted by AC Schnitzer their body kit consisting of front spoiler, boot spoiler, roof spoiler and rear diffuser. Also has a unique Front Bumper with Race Spec Ram-Air System with reinforced and modified AC splitter array. Re-polished and chromed AC Schnitzer lower radiator grill, carbon fibre kidney grilles with modified chrome/black centre grilles, carbon wing vents, carbon BMW front and rear bags, special one-off matching carbon AC Schnitzer badges on front grill, splitter and rear roof spoiler with rear M5 replaced with M POWER Decal. PIAA Vision Screen package fitted in combination with aero wiper kit.

Full exterior light bulb package upgrade with mirror orange indicator bulbs (front, side and rear), Up rated chrome mirror white bulbs (main beam), Day-glow front angel lights smoked LED rear light conversion fitted with Xtreme white bulbs, and matching smoked side repeaters.

The front bumper, splitter array, and wing mirrors have been treated to a one off high impact protection film to avoid any further damage, this has been carried out in conjunction with an additional paint protection system which has also been applied all over the wheels to reduce brake dust build up and contamination.

4. Auxiliary Equipment – Individual rear TFT screens fitted in custom TUV crash tested headrests, with individual DVD players, IR headphones, Games controllers, which are linked to the factory front TV system through an auxiliary controller which is switch able to allow the front TV to be watched whilst the vehicle is moving.

AC Schnitzer foot pedals and hand brake with matching floor mats, Carbon fibre I drive controller with complimentary Carbon BMW steering wheel badge. Full interior upgrade to Day-Glow bulbs including interior lights (front and rear), map reading lights (front and rear), door courtesy lights (front and rear), boot and glove box lighting which now compliment the wing mirror comfort and Headlight Day-Glow Angel Eye lighting.
