The Electro-Chromatic Glass roof can change into 5 different tints electrically via control switch; (first ever for a car). The curved rear glass automatically acts as a Wind Deflector, when the roof is off as well!

Ferrari claimed this as the World’s Fastest convertible at 200MPH and 0-60 in 4.2 seconds, but our late-built ” TOR” number plate, 2005 Turbo “S” Cab has the same top speed, but much faster acceleration at nearer 3 seconds 0-60 and even out-handles the SuperAmerica even with the additional £15,000 HGTC Performance Package! It is definitely not worth buying one of these without the HGTC pack, as it massively stiffens the chassis and adds huge carbon ceramic brakes. The rear of the car was re-designed in lightweight carbon fibre, and V12 engine power increased, to compensate for the extra weight of bracing the chassis; due to the loss of rigidity, for the removal of the roof. That is why the performance is better than the 575. Nonetheless this will again be worth its List price when new, maybe in the next decade, so a great car to have fun in right now, and see no depreciation in the mid-term of ownership, or appreciation in the long term!
