The very few similar very, very low genuine mileage 300 SL LHD left in the whole World, are advertised for near €100,000 by European Dealers, when they become occasionally available. As this most sought after variant of the R107 was never sold in North America, similar mileage 560 SL (far more common Model), command around $120,000, if and when available. ( On current 27/9/16 Exchange rates, this amounts to around £87,000 to  £94,000 asking prices!) So our price is an incredible nearly 35% discount!

Out of a total 237,287 made from 1971 to Mid 1989, the 300SL was the 2nd most Rare Model after the older engine 420SL, at a mere 2,148. Compare this to nearly 50,000 made of just the 560SL.
